I Will be running a one day workshop (£120/per student) to show you how to reticulate silver and make your reticulated siliver into a stunning unique piece of jewellery. You will have the choice to either make one pendant or a pair of stud earrings from your work.

Make your Own One Stone Silver Ring.
Let me share with you some of my 20+ years of experience making Jewellery.
In this workshop I will show you how to make a simple silver ring and how to add (solder) a stone setting and set a stone into it! Voila a Single Stone Ring Made entirely yourself.
The Workshop will be held over two Saturdatys the first class: Saturday 27th June, where you will make your ring, and the second class on Saturday 25th July, where I will teach you how to add a stone (Faceted ) of your choice to your ring. (either one made in class one or one you bring yourself).
The price of the class Inc. Materials and all Tools will be provided. Each student will be provided with comprehensive how to notes, so if they wish they can practice the skills taught in class at home. These notes include a list of all materials and tools and where they can be purchased.
I will supply the students with suitable eye magnification to enable them to see their work in detail and therefore allow them to work accurately. Please bring an apron, wear covered shoes and tie your hair back, for your own Safety. I will need you to read and sign my Health and Safety Handout before class. If you don't have a printer I will have hard copies for you to sign in class.
This course is suitable for total beginners and those that have some jewellery making experience. Both will learn loads!
Students can select the thickness of the ring shank and stone, in class. This will enable them to see with clearly what they are selecting.
At the end of the workshop you will take your ring home, along with comprehensive ‘how to’ handouts. This will enable you to replicate and practice the techniques at home if they wish.
Please bring lunch and refreshments there is a toilet, tea and coffee, but the facilities are limited. There is plenty of 'on street' free parking available nearby.

The class held on Saturday 27th June. In this class I will teach you how to make your own silver ring to fit what ever finger you would like it to. I will bring a selection of different widths of Silver wire for your to select in class.

Class Two is where I will teach you how to add a stone to your ring, you can either bring the ring you made in class one or bring your own simple silver ring to add the setting to. There will be a selection of stones for you to select the stone to make your ring with.

- Enamelling (Etching, Cloisonne, Basse Taille, Plique-a-Jour, Opaque and Transparent Enamels)

I will be hosting a one day workshop where I will teach you how to add Gold Foil to silver: Keum Boo. Keum Boo is ancient Korean art of introducing gold to your work in an affordable way. The Gold is permenantly bonded to the silver so will not flake off.
I will then demonstrate how you can blacken the silver to recreate a dramatic black and gold look.
